Alright my friends, here you will find instrcutions and support to help you write an excellent, typed second draft of your poetry analysis essay.
Ok my friends, to support you in your quest to write compelling, excellent second drafts of your poetic analysis of Dylan Thomas's "Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night," I am sharing a paper of mine I wrote of "The Weary Blues," by our favorite poet, Langston Hughes. This is a good model of close language analysis which reveals how the elements of the poem enhance the overall effect on the meaning. And of course I include the fourth step of analysis connecting to the greater themes which the poem brings up. Also, follow the same conventions in your typed draft of your poetic analysis essay (Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, heading top left, double spaced, indentation or block paragraph style etc.).
